I was amazed at how modern technology played an important part in transmitting the news of President Hinckley's passing. Sometimes we complain of people talking on the cell phone in cars or everywhere else for that matter, but if used correctly important information can be shared. Within minutes of President Hinckley's death, the youth primarily had received this news as a text on their phones. I hope that we can continue to find ways to use modern technology to connect us as people and to share vital information. This weekend we will all get to participate in President Hinckely memorial service by television, a technology that is a little bit older, to help us reflect on the life and message of a great prophet and man.
