You'd have to be there to really get the full impact.

Steve and Bill on God's Thumb

Beautiful country of Sevier, Utah

In the background is Big Rock Candy Mountain. It was a lovely May day to enjoy the almost unknown beauties of Sevier County, Utah. Steve, Lori, Marie, Marcia and Bill had an enjoyable time taking pictures, discovering new vistas and getting stuck in the mud. Thanks to Steve and Bill's engenuity we weren't stuck for long.

The pictures that show the cave and large cliffs are formed by lahars, molten mud flows caused during volcanic eruptions eons of time ago. It is always nice to have a geologist on a sight seeing trip. Can't wait to go back down and see more sites.
