Our wonderful missionary son

<
As you can see, we have a countdown to our son's return from his mission. We were able to talk with him for 45 minutes on Christmas Evening. It was almost as if he were just in the next room. We are blessed in these modern times to be able to communicate so easily with our loved ones who are far away. Can you imagine sending a missionary off a hundred years ago or even 20 or 30 years ago? Elder Diamond expressed his love for his family and for the opportunity he has to serve as a missionary. His testimony has matured and grown. I know we all feel like missionaries have testimonies much more intense than our own. Thanks for your prayers in his behalf.

Christmas 2007-Joy to the World

Here are a few scenes from the our Christmas season. We have been greatly blessed and have especially felt and seen the Lord's generous hand in our lives. We love our family and friends and hope to be able to express that even better this year.

Welcome to Lori D's Place

Welcome, family and friends to my blog spot. I didn't want to dominate the family blogs and I also wanted to be able to experiment with a blog without messing up the format that has been set on our family blogs, so here I am. Welcome. Please leave your comments. It's fun to know which family and friends have been visiting. I love technology when used to uplift and enrich. Thanks.

Lori

PS. For those of you who know me, this is a typical picture of me, with my eyes closed.
