Hi,
I'd thought I'd share a brief book report on the books I read over the Christmas holiday. I received The Touch of Sage from my mother for Christmas. It is the first book I've read by Marcia Lynn McClure. It is a western romance from the cowboy and cattle herding days. However, the setting is just a back drop and the story could be in about any time period. It is a sweet love story of a young woman who never had a chance at love before because she was left to raise her younger brothers and sisters after her parents died. She runs a boarding house that houses several older lady widows. A young cowboy enters the scene and it shows how they finally get together. It is fun, fast reading and makes you feel like "kickin yur heels up" at the end.
The second book I read is called Escape. I heard about this book as I was listening to a local radio station. Mark Shurtelff, Utah's attorney general was guest hosting this program and he was interviewing this woman. I had to go buy the book after listening to some of the things she had to say. This is a gut wrenching true story about a young woman who escapes her dangerous and frightening life as a polygomist wife and mother of 8 young children. It is very direct and to the point. I felt as if I were in the home observing at times. It was a little unnerving. I admire her strength and courage.
If you have any good books you'd like to share. Please leave a comment. Thanks.

Hey Mom Thanks for having me read Ariana the making of a Queen. I loved the whole thing. It really gave me a taste of what converts to the church go through a great insight when ya want to share the gospel to someone who doesn't undertand it. Thanks again. Any more I'm craving an other good read.
Love,
Christine
